Scripps Pier in San Diego, California

Scripps Institution of Oceanography also known as Scripps Pier was founded by UC San Diego back in the 1900. Is known to be the longest research pier in the world.  Aside from its interesting history, Scripps pier is amazing to photograph.  One more thing you should know about Scripps Pier is that twice a year in the month of May and August the sun will set right in between the center point of the pier.
