Antelope Canyon was formed thousands of years ago by erosion, flash floods and high winds. The Canyon is divided into two sections Upper Antelope Canyon and Lower Antelope Canyon. Today Antelope Canyon is visited by millions of people from all over the world and its know for its amazing array of rock formations. This place is absolutely amazing. But aside from its magnificent natural beauty, Antelope Canyon also holds a bit of mythical history. Some which include mysterious shapes found on rock formations, paranormal activities and ghostlike “appearances” on certain parts of the canyon. If you ask the locals they will in light you with tons of mythical stories of rituals and religious activities that took place many years ago when the Navajo tribes ruled the Canyons. And to this day some people believe that lost souls roam the canyons of Antelope Valley.
A few weeks ago I took a trip to Antelope Canyon and took several photographs. All the photos turned out great, but this one stood out t the most. Look closely and you’ll see what I’m talking about. I could not believe what I had captured. A Ghostlike figure right in front of my eyes!
